Comparative Christian Study in the holy Qur’an and in the Gospel of John

After the supernal ascending of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) up to the second century AD and receiving several historical reports of his prophecy, the Gospel of John was introduced as the New Testament. This Gospel gave a different attitude by emphasizing the divinity and eternity of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) comparing to other Gospels in line. Topics in areas like birth, the incarnation, trinity and sacrifice and… in the Gospel of John have fundamental differences with Quranic verses that in a comparative analysis their amount of accuracy and consistency can be examined. The result of the research will cause Common ground between followers of religions and propagation of Synergy and alignment’ factors among them and also strengthen of foundations of the faith of believers. It also analyzes the discrepancy’ factors and introducing Islam to researchers and Christian religion scholars. This descriptive analysis article will comparatively answer this question that what is the difference between known Jesus in the Gospel of John and what is known in the holy Qur’an? And what is the point of view of these two belief system toward prophethood of Jesus and trinity? Our aim in this research is settlement of disputes and uncertainties between Christianity and Islam and expressing the real face of Jesus Christ as one of prophets of God.
